Design and Buying Process

 Your satisfaction is our satisfaction.

Each boat built to order by VCB is different. As a family business, we try to understand our customers’ needs treating each boat as if it were made by us - for us. We offer full complimentary service for our customers; below are the details of the designing and buying process step-by-step.

Step 1

Please contact us now to arrange a no-obligation visit to one of our UK based boats available for viewings or come straight to the office where we discuss your requirements over a coffee.

Step 2

As we are a family business, our Director and Production Manager will work directly with you to decide the boat's size, adjust technical specification, and design the perfect layout and fixtures to match your needs.

Step 3

We will send the quote to you for approval.

Step 4

Once you are happy with the valuation and specification and decide to go ahead, we ask for a deposit of £2,000 to reserve your build slot.

Step 5

Our designer starts working on a detailed layout which we will send for your approval. At this stage, we usually meet again at the office or via Zoom to discuss details and make corrections if required.

Step 6

We sign a contract with you and set up a payment plan. We use the British Marine Federation contract template, of which we have been a member since the foundation of the company.

Step 7

Once the contract is signed, your boat goes into production at the agreed time, and we start welding your hull.

Step 8

We invite you to visit our yard in Poland once the hull is on the fit-out stage. As you are our client, we organise your stay in Poland, and we provide transport and accommodation so that you feel in Poland like on a short vacation. There is only a matter of purchasing flight tickets on your side. Suppose you have not previously decided on the exterior colours or finishing materials such as flooring or countertops. In that case, you will have the opportunity to make the final decision during your visit to Poland.

Step 9

Once the boat is ready, we test all installations, and we prepare your boat for loading and departure.

Step 10

We will deliver your boat to your chosen location. Our representatives are present during the handover when we familiarise you with the boat operation. We make a joint inspection, and when you are happy with everything, the final part of the contract is signed, and the final payment is due.

All boats conform to the Recreational Craft Directive and come complete with a CE mark, plus a 12-months warranty with extended warranties on many parts and equipment.
